TP3C Welcomes Dr. Emmanuel Aghimien as Post-Doctoral Research Fellow

TP3C is pleased to welcome Dr. Emmanuel Aghimien as a Post-Doctoral Fellow to the School of Architecture at the University of Utah. He holds a Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering from the City University of Hong Kong, where his research concentrated on modeling solar radiation, daylight, and sky models, and their impact on energy-efficient bioclimatic building designs. Before joining the University of Utah, Dr. Aghimien served as a researcher at the City University of Hong Kong, Purdue University, and the Hong Kong Metropolitan University. His research interests encompass bioclimatic architecture, indoor environmental modeling, machine learning applications, net-zero energy buildings, solar radiation, and daylighting. Dr. Aghimien will be working on research studies focusing on advanced building technologies, building resiliency and machine learning in building performance analysis procedures. He will also be teaching courses in architecture and building technologies.
