Suncica Milosevic presented TP3C research on user-centric and adaptive retrofit design principles at the Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA) 55: Human-Centric Environments Conference, held in Portland, Oregon (June 19-22, 2024).
The jointly authored paper with Prof. Ajla Aksamija, titled "User-Centric Renovation Design Strategies of Traditional Offices for Supporting Hybrid Work: Engaging Employees through Research," described their approach to a holistic, user-engaged retrofit design process (from pre-design, through design development, to design validation). The research study was implemented for two office organizations at the University of Utah, which sought to adapt their physical spaces to a post-pandemic, hybrid work-mode environment with care to foster user-inclusion and cohesion of their work organization’s specific culture.
Suncica Milosevic was also one of the recipients of the Nana Kirk Student Travel Scholarship, which supports EDRA’s student members.
