Ajla Aksamija presented a webinar “Decarbonizing the Built Environment: Improving Building Performance through Regenerative Design” for the American Institute of Architects (AIA) online learning platform AIAU, which provides courses and continuing education programs for architects, design professionals, and the AEC industry. The presentation was hosted by the AIA Building Performance Knowledge Community (BPKC), and it introduced participants to the latest research performed in this area. It also discussed specific case studies to illustrate design techniques, building performance analysis procedures, and methods for achieving net-zero energy design in existing buildings.
